One of the goals on my 101 in 1001 list was to try 12 new teas. K and I are avid tea drinkers. There is not a day that goes by that we don’t have a cup of warm tea or a tall glass of brewed tea that we have chilled. Tea drinking in our house is like a little tradition. Together we pick a tea, cuddle and sip while watching our favorite shows. We usually stick with the black teas. Lately we have been trying to venture out into the tea world. There are so many different kinds of exotic flavors and mixes out there. Sometimes it makes it hard to pick. Our first venture was when my boss bought us a tea collection from France. We tried each tea but didn’t even know what we were drinking because everything was in French. A couple of months ago my sister also bought us the autumn collection from Tea Forte. Tea Forte has amazing tea collections. The tea is housed in unique silken pyramid infusers are individually hand crafted. They use whole-leaf teas and rough cut herbs that allows the subtle flavors of these fine teas to infuse into the water. They are completely amazing!
Teas we have tried from the Autumn Collection:
Apple Pomergranate (herbel tea)
Juicy apple and tart pomegranate bring a touch of fall to this ruby red rosehip and hibiscus tea.
Ingredients: apple, rosehip, hibiscus, pomergranate, orange peel, sunflower petals, safflower
African Solstice (herbal tea)
This rooibos blend is light and fruity with a soft vanilla note. Sometimes called ‘red tea,’ rooibos is an antioxident-rich herbal tisane.
