#13. Make 3 new breakfasts 2/3 – German Pancake

I am in love with breakfast.  Love it.  I can have it any time of the day.  Today I decide to make something that I have never made for K before.  German Pancakes.  I have had the recipe for a while and for some reason never thought to make it for him.  It is super easy and usually you have all the ingredients right in your kitchen.  Enjoy!

German Pancakes

4 eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sifted flour
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoon softened butter

Preheat oven to 400.  Butter  2 9-inch cake pans well.  Add the eggs in a blender, cover and blend until light yellow in color.  Add remaining ingredients (sugar, salt, flour, milk, butter and vanilla); blend till smooth.  Pour batter into the cake pans.  Bake for 20 minutes. (Keep an eye on your pancakes towards the end of cooking…some ovens cook faster then others.)  Serve with your favorite topping and/or maple syrup.
