Cherry Sorbet

I have been holding on to this recipe for a while because I have not been able to find the frozen red cherries. I never would have thought that it would have been that difficult to find them but it was. They had every other frozen fruit you could think of but the cherry. When I finally did find them it was it this little supermarket that I had never been to before. So I bought two bags! I love the taste of this sorbet. It tastes exactly like the fruit.

Cherry Sorbet
1 bag of frozen pitted tart red cherries (thawed)
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 light corn syrup
1 tablespoon vodka
2 teaspoons lime juice

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s directions.
